I started to dance at the age of 9 and at 18 began my international competitive career.  I competed for 11 years representing England.  At the age of 19 years I became the British National Under 21years of age champion and in 2005 was placed 4th in the British open to the world Under 21 years of age championship.  I was a regular British National amateur finalist.  I turned professional in 2010 and was 2nd runner up at the British National championships in 2012 and 2013.  I was in the final of all the major  open to the world professional rising star championships including the British open, UK open and International  and in the top 24 couples in the world championships in 2012 and 2013.

 

I have over 11 years teaching experience and enjoy passing on my passion for ballroom dancing to competitive and social dancers.

 

My Qualifications:  Licentiate in Modern Ballroom and Latin with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).  Member of: British Dance Council, World Dance Council. 

BA (Hons) Physical Education & Sport.  PGCE in Secondary Education (Physical Education).
